Ronald Reagan and Robert Kennedy 1967 Live Debate...

Ronald Reagan and Robert Kennedy
1967 Live Debate

It is fascinating to see Ronald Reagan and Robert Kennedy debating against each other in 1967. It is interesting to not that they were both of Irish descent and they both had unusually thick hair, and were both extremely articulate. Also both men experienced assassination attempts, and Bobby Kennedy died, while Ronald Reagan barely survived.

Joe Frazier passed away last week at the age of 67, and he left behind an amazing boxing legacy. Joe Frazier is pictured below on the cover of Sports Illustrated with Muhammad Ali and Don King.

Winning

This is a great photo of Paul Newman with Cary Grant and Joanne Woodward on the set of "Winning" in 1969. Cary Grant and Paul Newman are considered to of the most successful, best looking actors in history, and in the photo it is so cool to see them kicking it together enjoying a bottle of beer.

Hugh Hefner & Sons

Hugh Hefner & Sons

Hugh Hefner is pictured below with this two sons, Martson and Cooper. I think it will be pretty fascinating to see what kind of career paths Martson and Cooper will pursue. Martson is currently studying philosophy and plans to attend U.C.L.A, and Cooper attends Chapman University where he is studying film production, while minoring in history.

Young Jimi Hendrix

For some reason I really, really like this image of Jimmy Hendrix playing guitar for Wilson Pickett. I imagine I like it because it is so unusual to see Jimmy Hendrix wearing a tuxedo...

I don't know why, but for some reason, I love seeing pictures of a member of the Rolling Stones hanging out with a member of the Beatles. For some reason, they seem like a perfect combo, kind of like Peanut Butter & Jelly.

The Beatles: Through Time...

The Beatles
From A-Z

I have lived my whole life with the Beatles playing in the background. The Beatles are probably the most profound music group of all time, but where did they come from? How did they get started? I put together this chronological story to explore their humble beginnings, up through their stellar success.

This is the first image ever taken of Paul McCartney and John Lennon together. It was taken on November 23, 1957 in The New Clubmoor Hall on Broadway in Liverpool. Notice how Paul McCartney and John Lennon have Elvis lids, and are wearing Colonel Sanders suits ;-)

The Quarry Men band are pictured above. From left to right we see Colin Hanton on drums, Paul McCartney on guitar, Len Garry on tea chest bass, John Lennon on guitar, and Eric Griffiths on guitar. Photo taken by Leslie Kearney on November 23, 1957 in The New Clubmoor Hall on Broadway in Liverpool.
